Shilpa Shetty born on 08 June 1975 also known by her married name Shilpa Kundra is an indian dilm actress business women, model, producer and also writer. She is the winner of british television reality series. Let’s take a quick look at her earlier life. Shilpa Shetty was born to the Tuiuva community Her father Surendra and mother Sunanda are both manufactures of  tamper proof water caps for the pharmaceutical industry. In Sep 1992 she signed for the begin working on her first film Gaata rahy mera dil which tells a story a girl involved in love triangle between two men. However the film went unreleased which meant that shilpa debut release was her next film Abbas Mustan thriller Baazigar alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. In 1994 shilpa has released three films. Her first released that year is aag in which she playing first leading role. Shilp next starred alongside Akshy Kumar, Saif Ali Khan and Shakti Kapoor in the action comedy main kheladi tu anadi.
In 1995 Shilpa Shetty starred in hathkari where she was working alongside actor such as Saif Ali Khan, govinda and madhoo but they failed at the box office. Sje made her Tamil film debut with 1996 released Mr Romeo alongside actor Prabhu Dewa she was a sleeper musical hit at box office. 1997 was the one of her busiest year she was appeared in six different films beggining with telugo language film. She was win the Bollywood Film Award in 1998.
In 2000 Shilpa received much acclaim for her role in Dharkan which earned reasonable takings at indian box office. She received several awards under the best female category in awards ceremonies. She would later go on a start with Anil Kapoor and Krishma Kapoor in the film Rishty.
2004 was the good year for shilpa shetty with the release of Garv in which she portrayed a Muslim orphan and a table dancer starring oposite Salman Khan according to shilpa she choose to do the film because she liked the subject the film was the police drama. She received much acclaim for her performance on phir milenge where she was portrayed a succsful city high flyer who contracts HIV from unprotected results.
In 2005, Shilpa starred opposite Upendra in the film Auto Shankar. The film was a major box office success and it earned her the name ‘The Gabbar Singh of the South’ due to her villainous role in the film. The same year, she starred in the ‘Fareb’ with her younger sister Shamita Shetty. Shilpa had one release in 2006, the much delayed ‘Shadi Kar Ke Phas Gaya Yaar’. The film was a box office flop but she got good reviews for her role as a not entirely likable wife. In 2006, she was a judge alongside Farah Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali on Jhalak Dukhla Jaa, a Sony Entertainment Television dance show based on the original UK show Strictly Come Dancing. 

2007 proved to be Shilpa’s most successful year at the box office. Her first release, Life in a …. Metro, won a significant reception and became the first Bollywood movie to premier at Leicester Square. The film performed well at the box office and was declared a semi hit within three weeks. Her second release alongside three Deols (Dharmendra, Sunny and Bobby) the film ‘Apne’ was also a box office success. 
Shilpa starred in the unreleased 2010 Indo-Chinese film ‘The Desire’, a film rescued during production by her mother who stepped in when its producer abandoned the project unfinished. 

Shilpa began hosting the second season of the reality television series Big Boss, the Indian version of the international reality television series Big Boss. Controversially one of the housemates was Jade Goody, Shilpa’s celebrity big brother co-contestant, with whom she was involved in the racism controversy. Goody left the series early after receiving news that she had cervical cancer, of which she later died on 22 March 209. 

Having work with Akshay Kumar in Main Khiladi Tu Anadi (1994) she began dating him on the set of ‘Insaaf’ 1997, the later having just broken up with actress Raveena Tandon. She spoke openly about her relationship with Akshay Kumar. The Indian media speculated on an engagement, and reported that Akshay Kumar wanted Shilpa to quite film and settle down. Shilpa had stated, however, that she had no plans to marry. The couple broke up in 2000 whilst filming Dhadkan. 
In 2009, Shilpa began dating businessman Raj Kundra, with whom she was the co-owner of the Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket team Rajsthan Royals. The two married on 22 November 2009. The couple has a son born in 2012.
